I often attribute doorways with the concept of passing into another world. The suggestion of a path leading to infinite possibilities that curves off beyond the viewer’s sight - coupled with intricate manmade designs of an older time period and a sharp golden lighting - ensured that this “Doorway” hooked tight onto my imagination.

It inspires a sense of longing for something lost and unknown. The sunset’s “golden hour” assisted with beautiful lighting, but I manually added a blur around the edges, sharped the image, and added some light film grain to enhance the dreamlike qualities of the image captured.
