Natural Beauty

The water surrounding these geese provides striking detail. Captured at Nashville’s Centennial Park, I had only to frame the image properly so as to make the water – and thus nature – seem all encompassing.

In reality, the geese and I were nearing the edge of the man-made pond, and I feared I’d missed my brief window of opportunity. So much commotion existed just off screen in the form of bustling passerby, but I was able to isolate these two geese in their habitat.

I one day hope to paint something this serene and detailed!
